I Love outdoor family portraiture.  I feel they are more naturally beautiful than indoor family photography.  I also feel that the children do much better outdoors that in the studio.  They can run around a bit and feel more free and less confined.  Children are use to being outdoors.  They are not use to being in my home family portrait studio.  Fortunately we live in Utah with so many beautiful location for outdoor family photo shoots.  I enjoy taking family pictures up big cottonwood canyon, at Murray Park, at wheeler farm,  at daybreak lake, at draper park,  at Flat Iron Mesa Park in Sandy, at Holt farms, and at all of our beautiful temples.  You may have your own favorite spot for your next family portrait.
